Adding to the catalogue of Pokmon successes over the years, the launch of Pokmon Colosseum has lifted Nintendo GameCube hardware sales across Europe, more than doubling its European market share from 16% to 32% in the first week of release. Adding to the catalogue of Pokmon successes over the years, the launch of Pokmon Colosseum has lifted Nintendo GameCube hardware sales across Europe, more than doubling its European market share from 16% to 32% in the first week of release.

Pokmon Colosseum launched to rave reviews across Europe on 14 May 2004 (Aussie Date June 24th 2004) and marked the biggest launch for a Nintendo GameCube title this year. In addition to the game, which included a free Memory Card 59, the incredible Pokmon Colosseum Mega Pak also launched on the same day. The Mega Pak contains a copy of Pokmon Colosseum plus a Nintendo GameCube, a Memory Card 251, a Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Cable and the Pokdex Organiser, Pokmon Box.

With the total number of Pokmon games sold in Europe exceeding 25 million and the hugely successful Pokmon Ruby and Pokmon Sapphire for Game Boy Advance having sold approximately 3.3 million in Europe last year, the Pokmon phenomenon looks set to continue.

Pokmon Colosseum is the first 3D Pokmon game for the Nintendo GameCube to feature an amazing Battle Mode and a Pokmon adventure Story Mode. Pokmon Colosseum allows you to explore, train, snag and battle your Pokmon like never before! You can even connect your Game Boy Advance Pokmon Ruby and Pokmon Sapphire cartridges and bring your own Pokmon over from these games into Pokmon Colosseum to use them in battles.
