After Europe and America finally got their release dates for the upcoming Pokemon revitalisation, Pokemon Black and White, us Australians sat at the back twiddling our thumbs hoping that Nintendo Australia would throw us a bone and announce the release date. One that wouldn’t be too far off the US or European release date. Well with the launching of a new Australian site for Pokemon Black and White Nintendo have killed two birds with one stone. Not only have we got the release date, but best of all there won’t be any Super Mario Galaxy 2-esque long grueling wait, unless 4 days is considered a ’grueling wait’. Yes folks, Pokemon Black and White is hitting Australian shores March 10th, just 4 days after the Americans get it and only 6 days after Europe gets it.
The site also shows off some of the new Pokemon included in the game with their English names, as well as a new city, a new style Pokedex, the new Professor (Professor Juniper, the first ever female Pokemon Professor), the new ’Random Matchup’ online multiplayer mode, a map of the new Unova region and more.
Remember Pokemon Black and White is region locked, so don’t go importing it!
