Nintendo's online troubles continue.

Nintendo has announced that Pokemon Bank has been removed from the Japanese eShop. In addition the western release which was due for December 27th has now been changed to TBD on both the American and European Nintendo eShops.

The removal of the Japanese version and the delay of the western release is undoubtedly tied to the all the server issues that have been experienced with Nintendo’s online services over the past day. Nintendo has said that the 30 day trial for the Japanese version will be reset when the service comes back up.

It would appear Nintendo’s servers can’t handle all the new 3DS and Wii U consoles coming online as well as the Pokemon Bank service running all at the same time.

We will let you know as soon as Pokemon Bank is scheduled for release again.
