Pokédex 3D will be removed from the eShop before it goes Pro this June

Nintendo Japan to remove the free Pokédex in favour of its full 'Pro' version

Nintendo Japan has announced that it will remove the free Pokemon 3D from the eShop just a day before the Pokédex 3D Pro is released on June 18th. Pokédex 3D Pro will, as the title suggests, be a more fully featured version of the application and contain all the Pokémon found in the National Pokédex.

It’s not yet know if the Pokédex 3D Pro will be released outside of Japan, but it’s a fair bet that it will. It is a Pokémon program after all. It’s also likely the rest of the world will have their original Pokédex 3D removed from the store as well. Don’t fret though, your copy will stay safe and sound on your Nintendo 3DS and you will still be able to download it again and again.
