Platinum Games are celebrating 10 years

Seems just like yesterday.

It seems just like yesterday that Platinum Games sprung into the world, but in fact it was ten years ago and the team are celebrating.

Although their first game Infinite Space was for the Nintendo DS and their second MadWorld (via Sega) the development team would never really touch a Nintendo console again until the Wii U and The Wonderful 101.

Since then we’ve seen a port of Bayonetta, an exclusive with Bayonetta 2 and the team is currently working with Nintendo on Star Fox Zero – they must be doing something right.

Tatsuya Minami, President and CEO of Platinum Games has written a nice blog post looking back on their ten years, there’s also cool wallpaper from PlatinumGames artist Yong-hee Cho to check out.

Star Fox Zero is due out on April 23rd.
