North American Club Nintendo members who have registered a bunch (and it’s a big bunch) of games on their Club Nintendo account may have been lucky enough to reach a platinum or gold member status. Nintendo announced a while back that if you could reach this level you could get a special prize and now they revealed what it is exactly.
Platinum members have the choice of either a replica Mario hat or a new and exclusive game. The other prize is a Wii Ware title, the game is Doc Louis’s Punch-Out!! A new game in the WiiWare service only for members who have attained that level. There are absolutely no details on the game yet, but it’s a pretty exclusive award.
Gold Members are not left out though with the members getting a Calendar for 2010. The Calendar is based on the Elite calendar the members of the Japanese Club Nintendo got last year.
