Plants vs. Zombies invading the DS next year
PopCap announces via Twitter that the hit game will be heading to the Nintendo DS
PopCap are not ones for fancy press releases, it seems. Instead, they have used the wonderful site that is Twitter to announce that their popular title, Plants vs. Zombies, will be heading to the Nintendo DS next year in January. The news comes specifically from Laurie Thornton, who is the PR person at PopCap and has worked on promoting the Xbox Live version, which is coming soon.
Plants vs. Zombies will soon be on every platform known to man, so why not the Nintendo DS? It’s, after all, a great game and the more people who can enjoy it, the better we think. With the title due across the lawn next year, we wonder, could a 3DS version be on the way too? Alas, we speculate.
