The head of EA sports has touted his appreciation for Wii, and believes that with this years offering of made-for-Wii sports game, that theyve finally struck a balance across all the current-gen consoles

The former Microsoft Game Studios boss and all-round tough guy was more than happy to divulge his thoughts on EA Sports’ current position in developing sports games that make the most of the Wii. Speaking to gaming website Industrygamers, Moore stated that “I certainly think this is the best lineup coupled with the best technology in Wii MotionPlus and the best marketing that weve done with the best product portfolio. Tiger, Tennis, EA Sports Active, Madden in August, FIFA which has been great for us on Wii, new art styles as you can see particularly in Madden… so Im feeling very good about where we are on the platform.”

EA Sports were the biggest third party supporter of Nintendo’s new MotionPlus technology, incorporating the device into two of the years biggest sporting title- ‘Grand Slam Tennis’ and ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10’- both of which are available in Australia.
