Atlus’ support for the 3DS has been absolutely stellar throughout its lifetime, and it seems like the company has no plans to stop anytime soon. Last night, Atlus quietly announced Persona Q2, a sequel to the 2014 crossover game Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.
The first Persona Q game was a fascinating mashup of Atlus properties, taking the old school dungeon-crawling gameplay of the Etrian Odyssey series and injecting it with the bizarre characters and worlds of Persona 3 and 4, so we can probably expect more of the same from Q2.
The kicker though? Judging from the artwork on the announcement website, Persona Q2 is set to feature characters from this year’s hit PS3/4 game Persona 5. We don’t really have much beyond the logo and the tagline (Take Your Heart), but we can probably expect to hear more about the game in the coming months.
You can read our review of the first game here, and we’ll keep you posted when Atlus has anything new to share.
Get in quick, they go fast.
