People are speedrunning the Super Mario Odyssey demo in stores

Super Mario Odyssey is just two weeks away but already some people are trying to get their speedrunning skills up to.. err speed? Mario games have quite the speedrunning community, any chance to get ahead for them.
In American stores right now there’s a playable demo of Super Mario Odyssey, it’s not very long and if you stop and explore there’s actually a bit to see. The fastest speedrun we’ve seen so far is just under five and half minutes.
Beats sobbing in a corner until the full game arrives, no you are.

Meanwhile, we wait for Switch demo units to appear in Australian shops.
It’s crazy, just absolutely crazy that this has a RRP of only $10 more than Super Mario 3D Land. What a difference a few years makes!
