Nintendo fans, you’ve done it again! For the third year in a row, it was my job to find and photograph as much of the awe-inspiring cosplay as my feet allowed across the three days. It’s hard to believe that PAX Aus is already three years old and that it keeps going from strength to strength, just like the efforts from all of you fellow Nintendo fans.
For the third year in a row, I was lucky enough to meet up with and photograph the fantastic Fulldancer Alchemist (Josh) as Luigi.
I also met the one and only Zero Suit Sonia, who streams on Twitch and does one hell of a job with her Samus cosplay.
And I was blown away when I ran into these two cool cats who I had photographed two years ago at the very first PAX Aus. I was so happy to see them still doing their thing!
These two troublemakers were cleverly disguised… they almost slipped by me without being detected. Good try, Wario and Waluigi, and I hope you enjoy your trip to the beach…
There was a lot of Pokémon cosplay across the three days but unfortunately I couldn’t catch them all. This Vivillon cosplay was one of my favourites. What wonderful work!
Fans flew in from across the Mushroom Kingdom to show love for their favourite characters. There were multiple Marios, lots of Luigis and tons of Toads!
Zealous Zelda fans were everywhere to be seen and got the chance to check out Tri Force Heroes at the Nintendo booth.
The effort that all of you put into your cosplay is truly phenomenal! Without you, PAX just wouldn’t be the same. You put a smile on everyone’s face and add an atmosphere to the convention that has a remarkable effect on gamers throughout the whole weekend. Seeing our favourite characters come to life and interact with each other is a dream come true for everyone that loves games. Thank you!
Same time next year, everyone?
Hey Link, give us a little outro music on that sweet ocarina of yours!
It is a Holiday Gaming Extravaganza
Some really great deals.
