You are the reason I go to PAX Aus. If you’re reading this, your support of and contribution to the video game industry is the reason an event on the scale of PAX Aus even exists. Thank you for that, regardless of if you were at PAX Aus or not. And thank you to all the wonderful people who agreed to let me share their photo in this story!
For the second year in a row, I made it my mission to meet as many Nintendo-related cosplayers as possible. It goes without saying that I was blown away by the awesome ensembles on parade. And now you can be, too!
The happy little Mario below was such a cool kid. He actually asked me if I could take his photo as I was walking by, so he gets to go first.
Next up is the funniest photo moment I experienced. A real life Luigi Death Stare, courtesy of a gentleman named Josh.
Below are some more Nintendo favourites in the flesh. Can you name all the characters?
On the third day, they rested. From the Nintendo booth to the Console Freeplay area to the Handheld Lounge, Nintendo legends were seen taking a well-earned break to play video games.
Even gamers not doing cosplay had their own way of showing love for games. The subtle reference to Metroid in the shot below is an awesome example of that.

Until next year, play me off Mario!
It's Black, Back Again.
If these aren't the coolest graphics...
Loco Motive, MySims: Cozy Bundle, Stray, Nine Souls, Servonauts.
