In September, North America received a major facelift for the Nintendo Channel. It wasnt just aesthetics, though, as a bunch of features were added. Weve finally got this update ourselves, so well go through the new areas.
Earlier you could give feedback on Wii games, but now you can give recommendations to users for Wii and DS titles. A separate section is now shown to display these, with games getting an overall medal ranking ranging from bronze to platinum.
Records are also kept for both game play times and games youve recommended. Be warned, though, that these play times will only be accurate if youve launched games through official means. Finally, you can favourite any game in the database to be able to get back to it more quickly later on. We do miss out on one thing North America started getting, the regular Nintendo Week video special, but thats understandable considering its American focus.
So what do you guys think of the new layout?
It's Black, Back Again.
If these aren't the coolest graphics...
