Nintendo have told European website Eurogamer that Metroid Prime Trilogy has not been discontinued in the UK

Hopefully, this means it also isn’t discontinued in Australia either, after we heard reports that Nintendo were no longer printing or distributing copies of the game. In the USA, however, it still looks like it will be getting the chop. MPT is the only means for Aussies to replay the timeless Gamecube ‘Prime’ games with updated Wii pointer controls – arguably the superior way to experience the classic Samus adventures.

We’re reluctant to believe anything at this stage and would recommend gamers keen to get a copy to snatch it up while they can.
