PAL Gets Boost Power: 60hz F-Zero coming to Virtual Console

Good news everyone!
Nintendo will be releasing F-Zero on the Australian and European eShop late on Thursday night and it’s only 30c. Better still it will also be the superior 60hz US version of the game.
Nintendo kicked off it’s 30th Anniversary celebration last month offering Balloon Trip for 30c, but celebrations were put on hold when it was discovered that PAL gamers were again getting the slower 50hz version of the title. Nintendo fans took to Miiverse, Twitter, Facebook and the rest of the internet to complain and it looks like it has worked.
It’s not known yet if Nintendo are planning to do this with every Virtual Console game going forward or just on a case by case basis.
We’ll have the full update for this week up soon shortly.

Wasn’t Balloon Fight already 60hz for our Wii U’s?
No it was 50hz and slowwww……
I didnt actually care though…
I have the 60Hz version of Balloon Fight on my 3DS from the Ambassodor Program anyway so eh…
Thank the lord! The Miiverse community won’t be full of endless 60Hz posts now!
Really didn’t care about 50hz. Its the way I remembered it and it was fine. I can understand with games like fzero it might be a bit more important but meh. For .30 cents I thought it was a bargain.
