Open Your Wallet + Bargain Roundups: The Wonderful 101, Disney Infinity and Splinter Cell Blacklist

Here it is, the biggest week the Wii U has had since launch, there are three games out in the one week and they’re all big titles. So we’re going to do what we usually do, round them up, bargain hunt and put them all in one big article.

Remember when The Wonderful 101 was marked as a launch title? Then launch window? Why not 9 months after the system comes out instead! Anyway the game is here this weekend and if you’re not sure why you should buy this game, go try the demo now from the eShop. (Or go ask your Mum).

The Wonderful 101 – August 24th

The team at Platinum Games led by the ever happy Hideki Kamiya have put together a great looking game and it’s getting decent reviews in the US already. We’ll have our review as soon as possible, but for now read our E3 2013 impressions.

Disney Infinity – August 22nd

Disney Infinity threatens to break and just full out assault wallets all over the world, but before you spend that cash you have to buy the game first. Why not try and at least find that first. We’ve got a list of deals for the game below, but before you splash out on all the figures keep an eye out in department and toy stores for deals.

Splinter Cell Blacklist – August 22nd

Sam Fisher is back like you’ve never heard him before, yes Michael Ironside might have gotten the boot for this, but Blacklist looks like it might be a great return to the stealth action everyone’s been hoping for. There is actually a special edition available for this Wii U version of Blacklist as well, but you had to pre-order ages ago to get it.
