Sorry to rub it in.

On August 29th 2014 Nintendo took the wraps off the New Nintendo 3DS and New 3DS XL. It wouldn’t be until October it was released in Japan and then strangely we got it in November.

When it came to America’s turn in January this year they only got the larger New 3DS XL much to the anger of fans, but have no fear – 12 months later you’re finally getting it.

The system will only be available bundled in with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. It also comes with the Isabelle cover plate and a free amiibo card.

Better late than never right?
