One million Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus copies sold in Australia
Wii Fit is selling big and thats only counting the Balance Board bundles
Nintendo Australia has just sent us a press release letting us know that they have sold over more than a million copies of Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus in Australia. That figure too is made more impressive by the fact that Nintendo is only counting copies sold with a balance board, the stand alone Wii Fit Plus disk isnt included. Wii Fit was launched in Australia in May 2008 and Wii Fit Plus in October 2009.
Nintendo also included some other fun and big figures too. Wii Play has sold over 600,000 copies, Mario Kart Wii has sold the same too. Wii Sports Resort is on track to overtake both soon too with it racking up 500,000 copies sold as well.
I remember when Nintendo Australia sent out press releases for games selling a huge 75,000 copies. Fun times!
