The Wii has sold a lot, tell us something new

Nintendos sent out a rather boastful piece of news which says that there is now one Wii in every three households across the United Kingdom. Nintendo says that around 8.5 million homes have a Wii out of the 26 million households.

The Nintendo DS has performed even better with 11 million households having a DS.

We havent had figures from Nintendo Australia in a while, but last time they said about 1.7 million Wiis were sold and there are about 21 million people here in Australia. Alright… perhaps thats not a good thing to say.
