Obsidian’s next big game The Outer Worlds has been confirmed for a Switch release. First announced last year and shown off in more depth at this year’s E3, the game wasn’t initially announced for Switch.

Now following the launch of the other versions of the game, the Switch will receive a port of the game thanks to Virtuos.

The Outer Worlds is a single-player science-fiction RPG from Obsidian and Private Division. Obsidian has previously worked on Pillars of Eternity, Fallout: New Vegas and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

The Outer Worlds is out on October 25th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. We’ll keep you updated when we hear about the Switch release date.
