For the first time since 1991 a Nintendo console will not receiving a version of Madden NFC. The EA stalwart and multi million dollar seller will be absent in 2013 on the Wii U.
Speaking to Nintendo World Report, the official statement from a EA Sports representative reads as follows;
“We will not be releasing a Wii U version of Madden NFL in 2013. However, we have a strong partnership with Nintendo and will continue to evaluate opportunities for delivering additional Madden NFL products for Nintendo fans in the future.”
While Madden isn’t overly popular in Australia and last year’s Madden NFL 13 wasn’t even released here the lack of the game in the US is a big blow to the Wii U.
