Nintendo’s newest Super Mario Hanafuda cards are super

Import or bust.

This week in cool things from Japan you can’t buy is a new set of Hanafuda cards direct from Nintendo themselves.

Nintendo you think might just release games but every so often they’ll go back and release a new set of Hanafuda cards – it is after all what they used to do.

This new set is now on sale in Japan and will set you back, assuming you can get there 2700 yen. Perhaps there’s a chance these cards will come to My Nintendo in the future?
