Nintendoomed joke being used on Doom Switch marketing in Spain

Well they are. /s

The old “Nintendo is doomed” joke has been around for years and when Doom was announced for the Nintendo Switch many (including us) continued to use it.

Now it seems that Bethesda or Nintendo (whoever is paying for the ad we’re not sure) have taken the saying to the next level by including the term in marketing for the game in Spain.

An advertising banner posted to Twitter by @Jose_Strife shows a translated take on the phrase attributed to “Popular Internet Saying”. Normally such ads would use quotes from a preview and say “worlds greatest game” out of context, publishers you know who you are, but instead, they’re riding with it.

Don’t forget ya puedes reservarlo the game, it’s out on November 10th.
