Nintendo has just opened an official website for a previously announced 3DS event, which is sadly Japan-only. Nintendo World 2011 will run from January 8 – 10 and take place in the Makuhari Messe convention centre, which is where the Tokyo Game Show is held. Entry is free to the public for all those lucky enough to live nearby.
It is unknown whether this event will become a regular occurrence or even what games will be on display. However, if I was a Tokyophyte, I would not be complaining.
Keep your eyes peeled in January for news.

Definitively done with the Wii U now.
Because Gate Rune and Dunan Unification War is too long to fit in a title.
