Nintendo World 2011 is well and truly under way and now that the 3DS is no longer under wraps, Nintendo are displaying the retail boxes for the system on the show floor. As mentioned earlier, the system will launch in two colours, Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black, and we’ve shared some of Vook’s pictures of the boxes for you.

Pretty slick, don’t you think? Also on display was a mock-up of a 3DS game cover. Notice that the 3DS logo is near the opening edge of the case and is separated from the artwork with a straight line, contrary to DS game covers which have the logo near the spine and a curved line against the artwork. It’s a bit ordinary but seems to do enough to differentiate itself from a DS cover.
