Put away your party poppers; the chance of Nintendo releasing any sort of news from the CES in early January just got a little lower. The Consumer Electronics Association has just issued a press release to correct itself saying that Nintendo will now only be taking up meeting rooms at the event and will not be exhibiting.
Although all hope of hearing news regarding the Nintendo 3DSs western launch isnt all dashed, we very well could see something come from these meetings but just dont get your hopes up too much.
The Nintendo World 2010 event is on in Japan at the same time as this event, although the Japanese 3DS release date has already been revealed.
