Nintendo Wifi Connection tops 5 million users

Nintendo has sent word that the Wifi Connection service has crossed two huge milestones within days of one another. Since launching in November 2005 the service has now clocked up 5 million unique Nintendo DS owners using the service, and of those 5 million over 200 million game-play sessions have taken place. Nintendo also tell us that 65 games worldwide now have WFC and the most popular games are Animal Crossing, Mario Kart DS, Metroid Prime Hunters, Pokmon Diamond & Pearl. Lets hope this figure increases even more with Mario Strikers Charged joining the Wifi fold.
