Nintendo Update Download 3D Pearl Harbour Darkness Kung Fu
A great week with several great games and a few duds just to even it out.
Wii and DSi owners are spoilt for choice this week as there are a couple of good games on each console. There are also a couple of bad ones that you should be avoiding, so read our update to make sure you know which ones are worth your money.
Wii Ware
Pearl Harbor Trilogy – 1941: Red Sun Rising (Legando, 700 Points) – Legando are back on the WiiWare scene with the first in a trilogy of new plane dogfighting games. Set during World War 2 the game is actually a port of a PC game split into three parts. It also brings some great graphics to the platform. Two weeks in a row now weve seen two good WiiWare games, but then theres….
Kung Fu Funk – Everybody is Kung Fu Fighting! (Stickmen Studios, 500 Points) – Two years ago the flail everywhere with your Wii Remote type of games would have passed, in 2010 weve gone past that and will leave that to our Kinect brothers. The only redeeming feature, it has the Kung Fu Fighting song. Hwah!
DSiWare
Soul Of Darkness (Gameloft, 500 Points) – Yep, its that one that looks like a Castlevania clone. It plays pretty much the same too, which really isnt a bad thing. Explore 11 levels through a gothic castle for a mere 500 points.
3D Space Tank (Q Games, 800 Points) – Also known as X-Scape in North America, this game is a minimalistic retro inspired sequel to the little known Game Boy game. Yeah, the original one. Even though its a sequel it does look like an entirely new game and one well be picking up for review.
4 Travellers: Play French (AGENIUS Interactive, 800 Points) – Learn French via a board game with your friends and family. 800 Points is expensive in DSiWare land so youll want to make sure youre keen on learning French if you want it.
5 in 1 Solitaire (Digital Leisure Inc., 200 Points) – Contains 5 different types of Solitaire to play, is 200 points. You know what youre getting.
