And it looks much better than your average port

Nintendo Japan today released several new screens of the upcoming and highly anticipated 3DS enhanced remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Showing off not only new screenshots but some brief footage, the game appears to increase the visual quality, change around the controls a bit and revamp the inventory system.

From the screens released, we can see that all the inventory will be managed on the bottom screen, leaving the top screen to remain clean and be much more cinematic.

The screenshots also show some minor revisions to Link’s character model, as well as some retouches of the item models and such. What’s a bit more exciting is that this 3D remake will be launching sometime before April 2011. With Skyward Sword allegedly arriving sometime during that period too, Zelda fans may have a lot to be excited about in the upcoming months.
