Nintendo teams up with ESL for six months of Splatoon online tournaments

Nintendo Europe has just announced an unlikely partnership. They’re teaming up with ESL eShop league for online Splatoon tournaments.

There’s more details on the way surely, but what we know so far is that these tournaments will kick off in early September and last six months. The news was announced at Gamescon in Germany by Nintendo Europe president Satoru Shibata.
