Nintendo at its Media Summit has announced Mario Super Sluggers for the Wii. Revealed last October the seldom seen game has come out in full force at the expo but is still unplayable to the press. As the only game not from the summit not under embargo but still a while away details are scarce. Nintendo says Sluggers blends richly interactive baseball with the characters and locations from the Mario Universe. More inside The game is played naturally with the Wiimote in Wii Sports style. Other motion controls are used throughout the game but the batting will be the main attraction. Mario is truly a one-of-a-king character; clearly fans cant get enough of him and his friends, said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of Americas executive vice president of sales and marketing. Were giving Wii users brilliant new ways to enjoy him while expanding our series of active-play games.
