Nintendo Switch Online is now live

Today’s the day. Nintendo Switch Online is finally here.

After this morning’s 6.0.0 firmware update, Nintendo Switch users are now able to sign up for Nintendo Switch Online via the eShop… provided you can get onto it. The eShop is still a bit on and off, with maintenance expected to last until 1:00 pm AEST, but assuming you can get onto it, you can sign up for your free trial and download NES games right now. The NSO-NES app is a single download that takes about 50mb of storage space, and it’s extremely slick, as you can see in the video below.
