Nintendo Switch has an impressive list of third party developers backing it

During the Nintendo Switch preview trailer only a handful of games were shown for the system, a few Nintendo games and two third party games – Skyrim and NBA2K. An impressive start.
After the trailer when the official Nintendo Switch website went live we got to see this – the entire list of third parties supporting the console and there’s some big names. They’re not just big names too but names we haven’t seen on a Nintendo console in years like EA, Bethesda, Epic Games, Starbreeze Studios, Codemasters and more.
The mind races when we think what games these publishers, developers and middleware tools will allow the Switch to have, especially since what we’ve seen so far (Skyrim) has never been on a Nintendo console.
Speculate away.

New Nintendo consoles typically have good third party support at launch. The trick is to retain it.
What an unprecedented level of support… for now.
