Nintendo Switch game boxes arrive in Japanese stores, have great artwork inside
You know it’s getting close to the Switch launch when stores start getting real marketing material to display. This week Japanese stores have started to receive real Nintendo Switch game boxes for display and they’re looking very pretty.
We’ve all see the front of the cases in material supplied by developers but to see them in person, that’s another thing.
Some posts on Twitter have shown what the boxes look like inside and how the game card is secured, however the most impressive feature is actually the ‘manual’ inside. Each of the display boxes are transparent and Nintendo are using that to show on the reverse side of the slip more information about the game.
Whether or not these make it to all regions or if it’s just a display thing in Japan remains to be seen but it’s a great use of the transparent cases we think.
