Nintendo Switch firmware updated to version 9.1.0, fixes Joy-Con colour animation

And stability!

Nintendo has pushed a new firmware live for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite, and judging by how quick it took to download – it’s quite small.

There’s only one real listed feature fixed, and that’s fixing the colour animation when you put in a Joy-Con. Nintendo broke this in a previous firmware.

Resolved an issue where the color animation was not displaying correctly when attaching a Joy-Con controller to the Nintendo Switch console.

Nintendo also says there are general stability improvements – because of course there is.
