Nintendo has issues a minor firmware update for the Nintendo Switch which fixes an issue where Pokemon Let’s Go can no longer connect to Pokemon Go.

Before this update you would have to force reboot the Nintendo Switch in order to get your sweet sweet mystery box from the game. Now it should work as expected.

Here’s the official wording;

Resolved an issue where the Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! games cannot reconnect to the Pokémon GO app if the game software was closed after pairing with the app.

Firmware 7.0.1 is available now.
