My Nintendo Store in Japan goes down after Switch preorders open
Earlier today Nintendo opened it’s My Nintendo Store which allowed Japanese customers to preorder a Switch, accessories and more. It’s also the only place you can ‘build’ you own Nintendo Switch bundle with different coloured Joy-con combinations.
Unfortunately Nintendo hasn’t been able to keep up with demand and the site has been down all day. The only consolation is that there’s been this cool little Godzilla on the error page that everyone seems to love.
We’re sure the site will be back and working at some point, but it doesn’t do much to inspire much confidence in Nintendo’s online capabilities. Especially if they’re going to start charging for them.

That Godzilla / Gojira style monster should star in its own game 🙂
