Nintendo shoots down Android on NX rumour

Nintendo has acted quickly and shot down a rumour from the Nikkei that said Nintendo’s upcoming NX platform would run Android.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Nintendo had the following statement;

“There is no truth to the report saying that we are planning to adopt Android for NX,”

Well, there it is – Nintendo are obviously going to deny this even if it does end up being true one day, but as expected – don’t expect Android on a Nintendo system anytime soon.
