Downloaded music can be played on your smartphone or music device too.
During the Japanese Nintendo Direct broadcast last night Nintendo revealed a new partnership with RecoChoku which will bring a music store to the Nintendo 3DS.
The service is so far for Japan only of course and will be begin in December. There is over one million songs for people to download to your Nintendo 3DS. You can though download the music again on other devices such as smartphones and media players as well.
The RecoChoku is only available in Japan, but if popular we could see Nintendo bring a similar service to the rest of the world.
