Bloomberg is reporting that Nintendo’s full year profits have risen to a four year high as of the end of March 31. Nintendo’s net income rose 8.7% to 95 billion yen as stated in a preliminary earnings statement. That compares with its earlier forecast that profit would drop 14 percent to 75 billion yen. The results of Nintendo’s full year report is the highest it has been since the financial year of 2001, in which they reported a 106 billion yen profit.

It is the Nintendo DS that has allowed for these good figures, and just proves that Nintendo dont need an console to make money, however Im sure the Revolution will add more money to the war chest.
