Nintendo have raised their full-year profit forecast by 26 percent. The raise is due to higher than expected Wii and DS sales. Nintendo’s money printers must be going into overdrive, with net income for the year ending March 31 rising 59 percent to 410 billion yen. That’s just over 4.4 billion Australian dollars. Sales of the Wii are set to rise 42 percent, and projections that DS sales would drop were reversed. More inside Stock has tripled since Iwata took over as president in 2002. If all these numbers are making your head spin, we’ll leave you with this: The projection for operating profit was increased by 23 percent to 650 billion yen, and the revenue forecast raised 11 percent to 2 trillion yen.
