The Nintendo 3DS cant come soon enough, oh and the whole economy to turn around as well

Nintendos one for timing thats for sure, in amongst all that hoo-rah that has been the PSP2 (or whatever theyre calling it now) announcement was Nintendos Q3 financial statement. Things arent looking the best for the big N, theyre on way in trouble but the Wii side of things, its looking a little sketchy.

Sorry Donkey Kong… youre just not a draw anymore..

Nintendos Q3 operating profits, which is from October to December were down a massive 46%, they pulled in 104.6 billion yen this year which compared to last year which was192.3 billion. The problem? Wii and DS sales slowing and the depreciating pesky Japanese yen. Nintendo is still opening in the back however with a forecast of 210 million Yen and Wii software shipments actually up. Nintendo will just have to ride the storm with this one until the 3DS hits, but what to do now with the Wii?
