Nintendo NX launching globally in March 2017

Will not be at E3 2016 either.

Nintendo’s Business Investor meeting was held today and it should come as no surprise that there was some updates on Nintendo’s next console revealed.

Without revealing much, Nintendo have emphasised that the NX is a “completely new concept game machine” and that it will be launching globally in March 2017.

No titles were confirmed for the system as of yet. The Nikkei is reporting that ‘features, price and software’ will be announced by the end of the year.

Nintendo also confirmed that the NX will not be shown at E3 2016 this year and issued the following statement;

Nintendo confirmed that NX is scheduled to launch in March 2017. NX will not make an appearance at the upcoming E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles in June and will be unveiled later this year.
