Nintendo loves their partnerships that end up with nothing.
The last time Nintendo were in a ‘relationship’ with another gaming company it was EA. That was an ‘unprecedented relationship’ and ended up turning sour when EA all but gave up on the console.
Now in a new interview it’s been revealed that Nintendo and Mojang, the creators Minecraft have a “continuing relationship”. But that doesn’t put food on the table, nor does it put Minecraft on the Wii U and 3DS. Speaking to Gamespot, Nintendo of America’s Dan Adelman was asked about the game possibly coming to Nintendo systems. This is what they had to say;
Dan Adelman: “What can we say on that front? [laughs].”
Damon Baker: “We’re big fans. We have a continuing relationship with Mojang, and respect all the work that they’re doing, but no announcements at this time.”
Minecraft is serious business, it’s super popular with everyone and could really shine on the Wii U and 3DS thanks to the dual and touch screens.
Maybe one day?
