Who will come up with the next Labo?
Nintendo has done really well with the Switch, and now they’re looking for partners to take the idea of the Switch even further.
Nintendo is teaming up with a company called Scrum Ventures to scout startup companies to create new ideas for Switch hardware. They’re looking for ways to use the Switch in new ways with new sensors, add-ons and more. Companies will be able to pitch their ideas to Nintendo and anything good could be picked up as a product.
This is a huge departure for Nintendo, and for video game companies in general. Normally new ideas are developed within the walls of a company, Nintendo is reaching out to the tech community to come up with some great ideas.
