Out of all the logos plastered over our beloved Nintendo Boxarts, how many times do you see the developer logo feature? Sure EA, Nintendo and Ubisoft all have their logo, but how often does the guys who are actually developing the game get on the front? Well, according to a new interview with GameCocks Mike Wilson, its actually Nintendos “”law”” that only the publishers name and logo go on the front or spine, with the developers relegated to the back. So why do Nintendo do this? When you buy your favourite band’s latest CD you see the band’s name on it right? Nintendo says it is a Customer Service issue as they believe people may try and call the developer and not the publisher if they have a problem with the game. That doesnt of course stop Nintendo slapping its logo on every game, even if they didnt make it, right?
