Nintendo has just announced a massive eShop sale to celebrate 5 years of the eShop. The one big caveat… it’s for Japan only at this stage.

From June 7th until June 13th there will be discounts on 100 games up to 50% off. There’s a bonus if you’re a My Nintendo member of a further 10% off as well.

Most of the ‘big’ games are simply just 10% off, games like Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS, Fire Emblem Birthright, Conquest and Mario Kart 7. Other bigger discounts haven’t been listed yet but the list of titles have been here.

Let’s hope we get a similar sale here in Australia! Hopefully we don’t have to wait as long as we did for the actual eShop to launch after the 3DS did.
