Nintendo holding massive Pokémon Sun & Moon midnight launch at Federation Square
Nintendo Australia have posted full details about what to expect at their massive midnight launch for Pokemon Sun and Moon at Federation Square in Melbourne. Don’t live in Melbourne? Fear not other EB Games stores are opening up at midnight and for those states who don’t have them, opening up early. Thanks West Australian government!
From 9PM this Thursday 17th November until midnight, Federation Square will be filled with everything Pokémon and hopefully Pokémon fans! Nintendo is encouraging you to dress up as your favourite Pokemon trainers for the occasion. EB Games Swanston Street is technically hosting the event, and on their Facebook event page it says only copies of the game preordered at the store will be guaranteed to be picked up on the night. So if you haven’t got a copy pre-order there, you may miss out.
For everyone else here’s a list of stores that will be open around the country, each store also has a gym badge to collect for attending. There’s no gyms in Pokemon Sun and Moon though, so these will have to do!
Remember to price match at EB Games if you do attend, you might not be able to do it at midnight but be sure to go back the next day. Here’s our handy bargain guide.
