Nintendo has introduced ‘Worldwide’ release dates and didn’t say anything
We all know that Pokemon X & Y will be released worldwide this October 12th, Nintendo’s been keen to point it out at every occasion. It’s a tremendous feat considering how long it usually takes for Nintendo to localise the games.
However overnight Nintendo of America announced a ton of release dates for games. They’re all on a Friday, a move from its traditional release date of Sunday. Wii Party U is one the first time games with the same dates after Pokemon X & Y.
Because of the time differences, if the game has the same release date (October 12th for Pokemon) then we will get the game several hours before the rest of the world.
However games like The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD which have one day different, 4th for them, 5th for us means we’ll get the games only slightly after them.
Now of course not every game in the future from Nintendo will be released on the same day, but at least from now until the end of the year things are pretty damn closed.
“…but because of being the land of breaking release dates it doesn’t matter.”
Fixed.
