Nintendo Europe hints at Nintendo 3DS Slider Pad release

Circle Pad, Slider Pad – it all ends up being the same colour in the end

The press release that hit yesterday about the release date for Resident Evil: Revelations contained a nice little mention of the soon to be released Circle Pad. So far its only been announced for release and well, its the Circle Pad in Japan, Nintendo Europe though and most likely the rest of the world are going to be calling it the Slider Pad.

The press release has this to say;

The game is also compatible with the new slider pad, a second circle pad with two more shoulder buttons, enabling you to interact with the environments in new ways.

With the release of Monster Hunter Tri G not expected outside of Japan for a while and Resident Evil Revelations set for release in February, the Slider Pad might get its first outing with Resident Evil Revelations. Stick with it.
